Three years after it first went up, The Girl in the Yellow Dress came back to Timpanogos Valley Theatre with a revised script and a new cast.
Tal Hughes and I rewrote large parts of it between 2022 and 2025. We tightened the dialogue, deepened the central relationships, and reworked the second act. The bones stayed. We’d written the first version as teenagers; by 2025 we’d both been to college, traveled, and lived more of the life the play was trying to describe.
